Industrial Engineer II, Applied Materials
This position is in the Solar Business Group. The ideal candidate:
Performs Methods Engineering analysis including process design, time and motion study, and production line balancing. Establishes and maintains performance measurement and control documents associated with work standards, learning curves, and man / machine performance.
Conducts ergonomics / human factors evaluations, recommending and implementing improvements to work area designs.
Provides economic risk analysis and return on investment calculations associated with project selection.
Develops and implements manufacturing facility design of plant layout, material handling systems, material staging and warehousing, and office layouts as desired.
Calculates and maintains capacity data for materials processing, people, space, and equipment associated with production.
Establishes standards across all operational processes.
Provides guidance to manufacturing and logistics related to effective and efficient use of assets and production processes.
Supports strategic implementation of product introductions into volume manufacturing.
