Required Knowledge & Experience:
Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Analytical skills. Organizational skills. Consulting skills. Ability to manage vendor relationships. Ability to travel. Ability to use computers in support of projects. Minimum: BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or equivalent; 6-8 years related experience; Industry experience. Preferred: MA in Marketing, Communications or Journalism.
Job Specific Knowledge & Experience:
This position is in Thin Film Solar GPM.
Competitive analysis:
Monitor position of competitors products and develop response.
Communicate response to Sales Team.
Provide input to product strategy based on competitive analysis.
Market Communication:
Develop key external messaging for Thin Film Solar product.
Interface with corporate marketing, investor relations, public relations, and Solar business Group executives to incorporate messaging in all communications.
Provide technical support for trade shows.
Responsibilities:
Manage divisional marcom budget. Work with PR group on product launch planning and execution and related issues. Interface with corporate and division management. Advise regional divisions on marketing communications. Insure Corporate Marketing standards and objectives are incorporated into divisional communications. Makes decisions and sets priorities for effective project execution. Plans for utilization of resources, external and internal. Edits and proofreads at an expert level. Other duties as assigned.
