Responsibilities

• Technical leadership for a group of engineers within legal guidelines and rules
• Responsibility for resource/capacity planning for the assigned project
• Responsible for designing and executing of customer orders within the guidelines (calculation, schedule, customer requirements, specifications)
• Compliant with internal workflows and processes
• Internal and external meetings with customers and suppliers for technical support
• Analysis of risks in the offer phase of customer orders
• Advising and supporting of other departments like sales, operations, R&D
• Support of the development of new machines/facilities
• Support of designing and administrating of process cycles/work flows (job instructions, standards, guidelines for SAP)
• Implementation and compliance with quality management policies

Required Knowledge & Education

• Technical university degree or similar (or adequate knowledge and experience)
• Several years experience in design/engineering
• Familiar with specific AMAT-technologies
• Good team player
• IT knowledge: MS-Office, SAP, CAD
• Experience in planning and execution of complex projects
• Leadership experience
• Flexibility and sensitivity in cooperation with internal and external partners
• Good knowledge of German and English in writing and speaking
• Familiar with vacuum technology
• Willingness to frequent business travels - worldwide
