Mechanical Engineer, Applied Materials

Responsibilities

  • Interface between development and production.
  • Execution of client, cost optimization and product improvement projects within all relevant guidelines.
  • Implementation and compliance with quality management policies.
  • Instruction of internal and external employees for support of manufacturing engineering.
  • Responsibility for quality and service reports.
  • Responsibility for testing of tools and systems until release.
  • Compliant with internal workflows and processes.
  • Internal and external meetings with customers and suppliers for technical support.
  • Analysis of risks in the offer phase of customer orders.
  • Advising and supporting of other departments like sales, operations, R&D.
  • Support of the development of new machines/facilities.
  • Participation in feasibility studies.
  • Support of designing and administrating of process cycles/work flows (job instructions, standards, guidelines for SAP, CAD). 

Required Knowledge & Education

  • Technical university degree or similar (or adequate knowledge and experience).
  • Several years experience in designing/construction.
  • Familiar with specific AMAT-technologies.
  • Good team player.
  • IT knowledge  MS-Office, SAP, CAD.
  • Experience in planning and execution of complex projects.
  • Flexibility and sensitivity in cooperation with internal and external partners.
  • Good knowledge of German and English in writing and speaking.
  • Familiar with vacuum technology.
  • Willingness to business travels - worldwide.
